The Challenge

Applebees Catering wanted to find ways to use less water and reduce their running costs. They contacted Water Plus for expert advice and solutions.

The Solution

Our Advanced Services Team conducted a water audit at Applebees location. Based on the results, we recommended and installed four tap aerators, which reduced hot and cold water usage by a staggering 88%! We also installed two flush savers in their restrooms, saving an additional litres of water per flush.

The Results

The results were even better than expected! Within just one week of installing the water-saving devices, Applebees Catering saw a massive 90% reduction in water usage. This translates to thousands of litres of water saved each year, along with significant cost savings on their water bills.

Water Consumption

Reduced by 90% in a week, based on the reduction in daily water use on the site’s water meter. Tap flows reduced from an average 25 litres a minute to 3 litres a minute.
